Roulette Tip: The Martingale

So you're looking for a free roulette tip huh? Well you've come to the right place. Today I'm going to teach you a betting system for roulette. This system probably works for other games too, providing that they're similar to roulette in that you can bet on two different things and there is an ~50% chance of winning no matter which you bet on. So what am I talking about? Let me show you.

The Martingale

The Martingale system is in reality a mathematically proven way to make money with roulette, providing of course that you have an unlimited amount of money. In reality however, no one has an unlimited amount of money. Also, this roulette system only works if the results aren't fixed and as with anything, there is luck involved. In order to understand what I'm talking about, you need to know what the system is.

The Martingale works like this. Say you have $100 and the minimum bet at the roulette table is $1. What you would do is bet the minimum (you don't have to but this is the least risky way of doing it) on any colour of your choice, lets say red. Now what you would do is keep betting on red until you win. Everytime you lose though, you double your bet on that same colour. So say you lose your first bet on red; what you would do is double your bet to $2 dollars and bet on red again. If you win then you've made a profit of one dollar and you would switch to black. If you lose you would double your bet again, to $4 and bet on red yet again. You keep doing this until you win and then you switch colours and do it all over again.

So why does this tip work? The process is pretty simple to understand. If you bet $1 and lose you're now down $1. Simple right? So you double your previous bet and go again. You lose again and you're now down $3 (because you bet $2 the second time). So you double your previous bet and go again. This time you win and because you bet $4 (doubling the previous bet) you're now up $1 (for those of you who see things better with numbers: -3 + 4 = 1). Get it now?

To recap, the tip works like this: You bet the minimum at the table on 1 of the colours (either red or black) and keep betting on that colour (doubling your bet each time) until you win. When you win you switch colours and repeat, starting again at the minimum bet.

By doing this, you will win consistently at this game. But I know what you're thinking. Where's the catch? If it's so easy to win money like this then why isn't everyone doing it? The reason is because online gambling companies know people, and you can pretty much assume that they know about the Martingale betting system for roulette. What they do is they make only one colour come up at the roulette tables when they think you've won too much. Coincidentally, it's the opposite colour to the one that you're betting on.

So now you're probably thinking, "well that's only for online roulette, I'm sure this tip would work at a casino in real life". Well truth be told, I've never tried this at a real casino before; but here's what I think happens there. The casinos know about this system for roulette, so what they do is they put betting limits on the tables (they do this online as well). If, for whatever reason, your colour just isn't coming up, you've kept doubling you're money for several bets. This means you're probably not going to be allowed to bet any higher because you've reached the limit. This means that you won't be able to gain back what you've lost since you can't double your bets anymore.

"Ok, then why is this system any better than any other one that I've heard of?" It's not. There is no system that is 100% effective, if there was then everybody except the casinos would be rich. This system is just one system that helps cut down the house edge for roulette. It is probably the best roulette system out there (it's the best that I know of), and it's definitely better than betting on random numbers. My advice to you then would be to use this system sparingly. When you've gained some money from playing roulette (say about $10-20 in an hour) stop playing. You've made a good profit and you don't want to blow it on a game like roulette. I especially recommend this if you're playing roulette online because if you play and win for too long, most sites will make it so that the colour you bet on won't be the winning one. So I hope that you've learned something today. Good luck with you're roulette playing and thanks for visiting my site.
